Trader Poets

This numbered and signed letter press book (a set of 100) assigns “hockey card” clich├ęs and jargon to individual Canadian poets since WWII. The book can of course be read as an ‘in-joke’ about many well known, and lesser known, poets, but equally as a poem that amusingly, sassily, and downright satirically offers a ‘send up’ of our country’s hockey media who use and abuse language itself in the same “lunch bucket” fashion they scorn, or celebrate, overpaid hockey players.
