Trader Poets

This numbered and signed letter press book (a set of 100) assigns “hockey card” clichés and jargon to individual Canadian poets since WWII. The book can of course be read as an ‘in-joke’ about many well known, and lesser known, poets, but equally as a poem that amusingly, sassily, and downright satirically offers a ‘send up’ of our country’s hockey media who use and abuse language itself in the same “lunch bucket” fashion they scorn, or celebrate, overpaid hockey players.
